Prof. Hans Crijns

Hans Crijns is partner of Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School, where he is head of the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Director of the Impulse Centre "Growth Management for medium-sized enterprises" (iGMO). He is also part-time professor at Ghent University. He holds a KU Leuven BA and Masters degree in Economics, graduated in Pedagogy at the University of Nijmegen and specialized in Science in Management at Boston University Brussels.
He has been a visiting professor at universities and business schools in Phnom Phen (Cambodia), Pretoria (South Africa) and Ljublijana(Slovenia). As an expert he has worked for the Belgian Government and the European Commission.
He is past-president of the European Council for Small Business (ECSB) and board member of several organisations in the field of entrepreneurship: ICSB, Vlerick Business Angels Network (BAN), Académie pour la Croissance des Entreprises (ACE), EFER, IntEnt. He serves as a non-executive director in a number of medium-sized companies.
